For this edition of Relic's Relived we have the Gauntlet of Galbane. The story behind it is interesting.  Long ago, before the kingdom of Tronicia was formed, there was an Empire, ruled by a tyrant named Galbane. Galbane was a bloodthirsty warrior with no remorse. He was a mage, and a bad one at

that. But Galbane had the mages on his side. He was a fast-talker and very convincing. He gathered many mages together. He called the meeting 'The Gathering of the 1000'. He stood in front of the mages and told them of a spell that he wanted them to do. A spell that would create an ultimately powerful relic to destroy all who opposed them. The mages all agreed. So

one-by-one, Galbane got them to go into a room and to throw power into his Gauntlet. What the mages did not realize, was that Galbane was actually draining their life force into the Gauntlet as well. So after

a mage would leave the gathering, he would more than likely die. After the 1000 mages

inserted their power into the gauntlet, Galbane raised the Gauntlet into the air and tried to unleash the power on a small kingdom next to his empire, but instead the power released itself onto Galbane and his entire body and soul was taken into the gauntlet. The gauntlet then split itself into 5 parts and scattered itself among the world to keep itself from being used like that again.

The relic grants the wearer powers depending on what parts you have.  The glove itself grants the wearer great strength.  The blue gem grants the wearer immortality.  The white crystal grants the wearer power to revive dead souls.  The black crystal grants the wearer power to walk through-out

the planes with ease. And the green crystal grants the wearer power over mother nature. I've never seen the gauntlet myself, but that is what legend says.

So says the Slayer.

"For centuries Batin has been protected by dragons and their bonded or Dragonbeings. Picked by the female golden dragons, men and women chosen to bond with the eggs. Forever together with their paired, helping to protect Batin, a most honorable profession. Now Batin needs the dragon riders even more for the land Reptin wants the dragons and land more then everything.

With Marina, the queen dragon and Gapin her bonded leading the fight can we save Batin? The eggs are to hatch soon, come quickly, get picked and join in the fight to save our country."
