Being in The DDK

By Fire Dragon

I have only been in the club almost 2 years now and I  would  not trade that time with another club. The friends and all the good times that I have had are not that easy  to just give away. True I may not be as active as  I wish to be but I will be a member of this club  until either asked to leave or the club no longer exists.  I  would highly recommend this club to anyone that asks and I try to help out when ever I can. I bow to the founders and members and say KEEP UP THE FUN WORK!!!

DDK life

Tronicia Times

Life in The DDK

Life in The DDK

By Terra

When I started in the DDK, I was new to internet, and roleplaying ON internet! I slipped into the club and posted. I was an adventurer coming to the big city, hoping to find answers. At least, that was my first post... I got no responses when I went to Asina's inn and looked for work. I "heard" the owner was out of town and after hearing she'd recently been married, I assumed a honeymoon and took over the inn temporarily. (Of course this meant I got a free room.) Still I had no one to roleplay with, and the only other storyline worth noting was a treasure hunt that this party went on and I grew

impatient for attention (my character impatient for information.) Being a naive girl, she wasn't that wise in broadcasting a bit of her life story and inviting the local necromancer to come and see her.

Everything went so

fast once I got involved like that and I got more and more involved in the DDK

roleplaying.

I slowly got involved into the non-rp affairs of the club and with stars in my eyes I became the 22nd member of DID's fan club. I'm a lucky 22! I even have an award for it! I boomed a few stories about myself into the Tronicia Times and Damsel thanked me!

Then there were some "problems" and the club was deleted. I was disappointed and started talking to Damsel. I guess I made a good impression because before long I was joining the DDK council (youngest member at the time I think). It was right around the time that they were coming up with titles and duties. I couldn't be left out and I knew how much Damsel needed help, and so I was the Royal Advisor, confidante of Damsel. I was happy.

I got more and more involved and am now one of the most active members of the DDK!

I submit ideas and have 4 characters (I know a lot of people have more though). But me? The DDK isn't just a part of my life. It practically IS my life. I have friends in here and I love helping the newbies. I'm

actually the one working on the Tronician Flag and soon, if Damsel likes one of them, we will have a flag.

(editors note...Damsel is hard to please with Art work)

I love the DDK and even though I'm third generation, I'm one of the people who are "there" in the  DDK. I guess I'm a name like Damsel, Nomad, Slayer and Darksong when I was new now.

So if you let yourself get involved, it could happen to you! You only have to set things in motion to make it happen!

You asked for a "Pink Monkey" you get a Pink Monkey….

Just goes to show the Tronicia Times prints anything you ask for.
