Dear Diary,

I made it to my flight on time. I'm sitting here on the plane waiting to take off. They just told us they have to check a gauge. I'm thinking I want to jump off this plane right now. What gauge? What's wrong? I hate flying.

Finally everything is ok, and we are going to take off. I'm putting my journal away and getting my Celtic bear out to hug while we take off. See you later.

It's later, we've been flying for over an hour now. I'm looking out the

window and I hardly see any lights. There is darkness and every once in a while I can see a small area of lights on the ground, we fly over it and then there's no lights again.

Wonder what states I am flying over?

They just told us we would be soon, then I have to find Nomad. OMG I just realized Nomad is going to be the first DDKer I meet. Wow the pressure! *grin*

I'll write when I get to the hotel...we're getting ready to land.

Dear Diary,

Finding Nomad was easy, I wish I could say that about the drive to the Hotel.

Four wrong turns later, we finally made it on the right highway heading for the hotel.

Nomad brought a million CDs with him and decided to play one while we drove. To my surprise the first CD he put in happen to be this song I kept hearing on the radio before I left for the trip...Breathless by The Corrs. I didn't even know the name of the song before he played the CD.

After we listened to that, we put in the tape the Narrator gave me for the trip. He wouldn't tell me what was on the tape, just to play it when I drove. We press play to hear Blondie singing "Maria" How cool! My favorite "Maria" song of all times :)

Nomad and I are stuck in traffic, blasting the music, signing alone, while people are looking at us.

Guess they don't play loud music in Texas...LOL

We finally made it to the Hotel and checked in around 12:30. We found Shadow and Mage. Shadow and I hugged for what seemed like forever. It was so great to finally meet her.

So now I am in my room, ready for bed. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow, we are heading to NASA and going to meet Huma.
